I access FB on my iPad thru Safari. The past hour when a friend links to various pages I get a weird image of the words "ACCESS DENIED. You don't face permission to view that...." Typed over the link. Different friends. Different links. Not spam or phishing links either. Anyone else see this?
They are not mini-laptops. They are not designed for multi-tasking. They are great for taking on the road if you want to do things that are hard to do on a tablet (such as formatting a blog post on Wordpress). I travel with my netbook and have taken it to conferences for taking notes, but would never dream of buying one instead of a laptop.
When I got my netbook, I upgraded to the max of 2GB of RAM and was told to stick with an anti-virus program that didn't use too many resources ...they said no way could I use Norton on it. I was also told that Outlook was a resource hog, so if I was going to use it, to open the window, check mail and then close it. In fact, that's how I use the everything on the netbook. I close everything except what I'm actively working on. In comparison on my laptop, I usually have 10 windows open plus tweetdeck and possibly Word, Excel or Publisher.
