I'm meeting with a class of brand new REALTORS this morning. What's your one piece of advice on technology for their first year? By the way, give them a shout out, I'm showing this group for them to join. :-)

At our GLAR Legal Update today they used an example of local member who was nailed for $1065.00 for a one time innocent use of one photograph attached to a recipe. Getty and others are using sophisticated software looking for those violating copyright. Be Careful out there REALTORS.

Well, I'm now the proud owner of another PC, in addition to my MacBook Pro so I can relate to the other 90% during educational sessions. Any recommendations on software, etc????

Getting many requests of individuals that have nothing to do with real estate requesting to join that I suspect want to spam us. :-) If you see any slip by and see violations of the group, let us know and we'll "DUMP" them in a New York minute. (You like that NY minute Nikki)

Go mobile. According to Google and Bing, over 50 percent of web searches done from a mobile device are local and yet 93.3 percent of local business websites are neither mobile compatible nor render correctly from most smartphones. Mobile compatibility is critical as customers will usually move on to the next site within a few seconds if they are required to “pinch and zoom” for information. (Kind of a shame, don't you think?)

Our ALC has started master,ind groups so every agent in our office is in a group so we can help them all grow to become better agents.

Technology is GREAT when it is all working! However, just remember (when it isn't) that we are just helping people buy and sell houses. We can do that with pen and paper and go back to basics IF necessary!
