I filter ebrochures into their own folder so that they don't flood my inbox. Ebrochures from firms I have never dealt with or brokers I don't know (if being sent direct to me and not to or from some sort of company distribution list)- typically end up marked as spam. (Like the ones where someone plucked the name off a list-not as if a hey I don't know you but based on your last three deals in this area-thought you might have a buyer for...
...So when you want to reach me to do business- chances may be I wouldn't see it because you spent the last two years spamming me with your ebrochure.
One could do many things, however doesn't always make sense.
And btw possible that what you are describing would be considered against TOS of. MailChimp ?

Change your settings through your Facebook account and your emails will decrease immensely.
