Who is Stik.com? I just got an email saying "Now that you're on Stik.com" in the title. I hope I am NOT on Stik.com The email says: "Did you know that over 80% of customers read and consider online testimonials as a key part of purchasing decisions? We see you're well on your way to building a great online presence, and we'd love to help you along the way. You currently have 0 testimonials on Stik. We think you can do better than that! The more reviews you have, the more likely potential customers will read something positive about you online when they search. Get your first testimonial now Then, come back to Stik and keep getting referrals and recommendations from your past happy clients. -Your Friends at Stik" I better not be on Stik.com or Branch or.... I am. I want it down. It is not something I set up. It is hard enough to keep up with profiles you set up.
Just started getting emails from agents / out of town home inspector etc. asking for a review on MyBizCard.co It's an online business card? This is different how from About.me or SocialBios? Different in that you ask "peers" to review you? You can use your LinkedIn to sign in. Have you reviewed your peers?
Anyone catch Bill Lublin's presentation at NAR last November? He says he discussed "the three big lies of technology sales as well as the three things you need to think about when you buy technology." He did repeat performances... I mean presentations about the subject in Banff and Wisconsin. What are "the three big lies of technology sales"?
We had cont. ed for computer classes years ago, I remember taking classes for Word, Publisher ms products, maybe mid 90s? I think they were offered through our local real estate association. Ohio there was a limited number of continuing ed hours that could be computer related but that's been done away with. I think other than the required courses it could all be technology so long as it is approved by the state. Using a tablet / iPad / computer today to me is a lot more a lot more intuitive than using a pc was way back when.
What Kristi Mitchell Ross said Rapportive is a great place to start... Sometimes people I know look scary on Rapportive though too. You can see if the assistant to the real estate big shot is someone in a 3rd world country getting paid to spam and other useful stuff w/ Rapportive.
