Let's talk lead conversion! - I just finished a phone call with one of my brokerages that has fantastic rankings (LEC) and tons of leads for their market (just under 2000) - however their agents aren't working the leads being assigned and so their numbers are terrible! (under 5 deals closed) - I looked at their system and lots of what they are doing (rather not doing) is easy to fix. BECAUSE THEY AREN'T DOING ANYTHING!! :S - But what I'd like to know from brokers and agents is - in a non vacation market (think like Atlanta, Boulder, San Diego, Minneapolis) kind of cities - in a situation where agents are getting leads from broker site (20% referral fee) - what is a reasonable expectation for conversion once these agents are trained. I'm thinking low end 1% high end 5% - but I'd like to hear from other agents / brokers what they thing is reasonable from agents that are given 2-4 leads per day from the brokerage.

I think the bottom line here is that responsive sites CAN convert as well or better that their PC counterparts, because anything you can do with a non responsive site you can do with a PC site (including a redirect to mobile product) but the reverse is not true. But all the way back to DS - the product is a piece of crap, and after Zillow bought them, I highly doubt there will be the motivation needed to actually improve it.

Mike - you are just running out of characters in that space I think - you need to choose text that will fit in that area - widening it would effect the aesthetics of the design you don't really want to do that (you could have the team remove something to make room though)
we are in the 2% range..on internet leads.. I fired 2 of my buyers agents.. in lastb 60 days. ..because no matter how much I screamed, yelled, cried, they didnt want to call those leads..Im not talking email the leads..Im talking pick up the darn phone..this year Im training an inside sales person.. someone who does nothing but call the leads.. and set appointments..and Im charging an extra 10% off they split for every appointment booked through isa.. agent has to make phone contact within 24 hours..or isa starts calling..so slacking is gonna cost them 10% of they check..in my market average 10k commission..not calling that lead is gonna cost them $1000 . enough is enough already...
