For those in Washington (NWMLS) looking at possible IDX vendors, you may not want Diverse Solution on your short list. I love DS's product - dsSearchAgent, dsIDXPress and dsMobile, which I think are far superior than the competitors. However, it has been a struggle from data integrity, reliability and customer service stand point. In the past year, DS has encountered three significant glitches. Last April there was a 13-day stretch where they failed to update MLS data, last fall there was a 3-day stretch and currently in the past 8 days they've only updated the MLS data once. I want to stay with DS but am beginning to realize that cool products with all the bells and whistles are meaningless if they don't have the ability to consistently provide updated, accurate MLS listing data.

Does anyone use Windows Live Movie Maker? The Seattle Chamber of Commerce is hosting a session on it and I'm wondering if it's even worth the $35 cost to attend. Is it even relevant?

Odd...if there's only 1 network and it's a primary, it won't let me remove it.

I just deleted a network...I clicked on the remove link to the right of the network name, it then showed it with a strike through, then I clicked on the Save Changes button. That removed the network from my profile.

It's those scripts (at least some of them) and misleading advertising tactics to procure the listing appointments and listings that violated state laws and got him in trouble.

Paying a small sum may really speed up the process. No telling who you will meet. You will sell someone a condo that you meet.

Well if you did Happy Grasshopper and save $5 and then did Wise agent and saved $5 it is already free. Now add that every week there are deals. Makes sense

I use WMM because it's free and I don't have a Mac. Totally works for my uses.

Windows is a good start...I used it for a couple of years...I just bought Sony Vegas HD Movie Studio and LOVE it...you should have a basic knowledge of some editing before you move up...WLMV served me just fine...I say save your $35 and do a search on YT for all the answers you need...or you can do what I did and Just Do It...good luck!

Working in a metropolitan area, it is common practice for me to lock the door upon entering the property with my clients and then again when I leave - regardless of whether there is another agent waiting to show it. I am never offended to reopen a lockbox or wait until the previous agent is done - whether an electronic one or combination. I give them the same respect I expect from them - time to show the property to my clients to thoughtfully consider it. I trust the agent leaving is looking out for her safety and understands she is held accountable for showing the property and leaving it secure when she/he leaves. It takes all of 5 seconds to open so I'm not entirely sure what the problem was? She was responsible for showing the property to her clients and then securing the property before leaving. Period. I'm not at all sure why you were offended by that unless her being on the phone seemed rude?
