The only time I've ever had something like that happen on my macbook pro was when one particular video email website wouldn't even recognize my camera. Eventually I figured out that I had to go into Skype options and disassociate Skype from the camera and restart the browser then it worked. Even when Skype wasn't running. Strange but that worked. Then when I wanted to use Skype, I had to go back and re-associate it.

My solution has been to never read the Terms of Service of any website and keep my foot on the gas pedal of lead generation. Somehow it always works out.

i use comf5 and it's awesome. has helped increase my conversion rates tremendously. (I sell almost 200 homes a year) Just added in a quick personal video email that last about 15 seconds. if it's a buyer my video is basically, hi ___, just wanted to let you know there is a real person on the other side of the website you registered on... here to help... blah blah. seller's get a look forward to meeting you on our appt monday... or look forward to seeing if your home would be a match to add into our marketing program this month... full disclosure - I signed up as a reseller (only time I've ever ever ever done that) not trying to sell you to make some kind of buck, but agent to agent, this thing rocks. well said Jim Gatos. really, really well said. i'm a techie and always just did everything with elbow grease. at some point i had to learn the same thing when i started hanging out with the biggest producers in real estate. they know when to exchange dollars for time even when they already have the knowledge to do it themselves. not an easy decision but watch how quickly your bank account grows when you start giving out pennies to save minutes.
