I am going thru it now (closing tomorrow, fingers crossed) and you are so right how interesting it is. I learned how annoying it is when people don't use docu sign or esignatures, that there can never been too much communication, how much I like it when the agent gives opinions (verse a whatever you want attitude), the loan process sucks (and I have an awesome lender). Also, I can see why people value negotiation skills so high as a desirable trait in NAR reports, it is one of the biggest factors I'd say on whether my agent did a 'good job' or not.
Jeremy Blanton Agree with your last comment, however, that FB ping would be more than I recieved from any agent I've ever worked to buy or sell over the last 10 years (with the exception of one). And I bet I've hired about 10 agents to deal with rental or primary properties.
Funny how this turned to tools and tech so quickly. When I think of my broker I think person first and foremost, the tools are a distant second. To rip off Jeff Foxworthy, you might be working for the wrong broker if.... Tech and tools come before people!
