Pretty PLEASE! If you don't know what to do with a short sale ask someone who does! You do your client/customer harm if you act without knowledge or skill to perform.

Matt Wilkins That can happen and then it is up to us to limit our access. I know I have gotten some of my best ideas from others that were willing to share so I do my best to pay it forward. If we want to raise the level of professionalism, we need to help raise each other to the next level.

Mike Pennington If an individual is in a sales profession then their job is to make the sales happen. Some do better than others, as in any profession. While I do agree with recognition for top performers, most of them will tell you they don't do it for the rewards. It's what they do! SO, in my mind a true professional is a more rounded person. Someone who excels in their productivity and is willing to share in order to help someone els.

One thing I encourage and try and give positive reinforcement to is being a good teammate to other members of the company.

While I was selling, my broker covered my dry cleaning. Didn't hurt the dry cleaners was a client as well. But it was a nice perk for doing something I loved at the time.

I agree with the Amens! I keep yelling it through my office. I wish they would at least co-list with someone that knows short sales to learn before being on their own.
