I think another thing to look at to determine what will work best, is to also know what things you want to do. For example, do you want to be blogging? Do you want a site that is templated with content already in place? Are you OK putting your own content into the site?
Do you want to manage the site yourself, or do you want someone to do it for you. For example, the site I do, you are responsible for putting in all your own content and managing. But, you have complete and total ownership. You get your own hosting etc. But, if you are not going to do much blogging, it may not be a wise decision to go with WordPress.
On the other hand if you want something populated & managed for you, then a company like Dakno with Brad & Bobby or Tribus with Eric might be the solution with one of the package options. While you get a lot of help with that stuff, they do then manage it for you, so there is a little less control you have over everything and probably a higher monthly fee.
There are tons of options in here. It all depends on your wants & needs as to what would be the best option for you.
