In the state of NC if you wanna scare yourself lol take the Broker in Charge course! Head is spinning with why we don't have MORE education in our industry! That 12 hour course really showed me where and how to shore up my own practices and what NOT to do. Education is never a bad thing at all. I took it to further my knowledge and I'm glad I did. Now I understand why my managing broker was a nervous wreck lol
Michael you mentioned below that someone had tracked their monthly metrics to determine how many of their deals could be tracked back to social media. Is there a specific tool they use? Can you share that or pm that to me?
Is there anyone in the group that is in or around Bristol Conn? I have a young man who is on his way there the end of July and is looking for a nice apartment to rent near the ESPN campus. If anyone can assist me with this please let me know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
I have a question. Should an agent identify that a listing is not theirs on their websites? I google my properties to check out where they are showing up and find it irritating when someone else seems to be advertising the listing as their own. I might be just a bit tired and punchy tonight but it just hit me wrong.
We have a moral obligation not to steal outright. That is a basic human instinct I would hope. This woman had to know exactly what she was doing. Designing a site exactly the same is irresponsible and just darn stupid.
Michael McClure and Randy Hooker ... Could not agree more! WALKING AWAY is sometimes the very best idea.... As Groucho Marx stated so eloquently in Animal Crackers... Hello, I must be going, I cannot stay, I came to say, I must be going. I’m glad I came, but just the same I must be going. La La. I’ll stay a week or two, I’ll stay the summer thru, But I am telling you, I must be going.
Tammy Lankford Our posts came through at the same time. As you mentioned, a listing with inaccurate content poses a legal risk and/or confusion. I would definitely take issue with a non-IDX listing. I am sensitive to both accuracy and risk management. Those examples move to the "call you in a NY second" category.
